BridgeHaul is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. The policies below are applicable to all BridgeHaul websites (“Sites”) and Mobile App (“App”) (collectively the “Service”). The privacy policy below has been written to explain how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, protect, and make use of personal information.

By using our Service, you are accepting the practices described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify or amend the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. Your continued use of our Service following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

What Methods and Types of Information are Collected and Stored?

We collect two basic types of information from you in conjunction with your use of the Service, personal information and non-personal information. Personal information is any information that can individually identify you and includes your name, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, credit card, billing and contact information. Non-personal information includes information that does not personally identify you but may include tracking and usage information about your location, demographics, use of the Service and the Internet.


Account Information

When you create an account we will collect certain personal information that can be used to identify you including but not limited to your name, email address, phone, number and non-personal information such as MC#, carrier name, and profile preferences.


Use of Cookies, Flash Cookies, and Web Beacons

Like many Services, we use "cookies", which are small text files that are stored on your browser when you visit certain online pages that record your preferences and actions. We use cookies to track use of our Services. We may also use cookies to monitor traffic, improve the Services and make it easier and/or relevant for your use. You may occasionally get cookies from companies advertising on our behalf. We do not control these cookies, and these cookies are not subject to this cookie policy.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but, if you prefer, you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. We may also use web beacons or flash cookies. A web beacon or flash cookie (also known as "action tags", "tracer tags", or "single-pixel gifs") is an invisible graphic on a web page that is programmed to collect non-personal information about your use of a given website. We do not share or provide personal information we may collect through such web beacons, such as names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers with our advertisers without your express permission.


Information Related to Use of the Service

Our servers automatically record certain information about how Account holders ("Users") use our Services (“Data”). Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the web page that a User was visiting before accessing our Services, the pages or features of our Services to which a User browsed and the time spent on those pages or features, the links on our Services that a User clicked on, User content entered into the Service, images or documents uploaded to the Service, messages exchanged on the Service and other statistics. We use this information to administer the Service and we consolidate and analyze this information to improve and enhance the Service. We may use a person's IP address to fight spam, malware and identity theft. We also use the IP Address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used.


Location information

We may at times collect and store information about your geographic location through wireless network triangulation, GPS, and/or converting your IP address into a rough geo-location.


Shipper Marketplace Information

If you use the Service for accepting Shipper freight, we may track your location and the location of the freight you transport. If you accept a Shipment through the marketplace feature, the Shipper who has made such request may also be able to track the location of the freight you transport on its behalf. If you are a Shipper using the Service, we may track and store the location of the freight you ship through the Service.

Information Disclosed in Connection with Business Transactions. Information that we collect from our users, including PII, is considered to be a business asset. As a result, if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy or if we are acquired as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your PII may be disclosed or transferred to the third-party acquirer in connection with the transaction.


To Whom Do We Provide Your Information?

Except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy below, we do not use or disclose information about your Personal Information collected online to any companies not part of BridgeHaul. In no event will we sell or rent your Personal Information as part of a customer list or similar transaction.


Business Partners and Third Parties

Information that we collect from our users, is considered to be a business asset. As a result, if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy or if we are acquired as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred to the third-party acquirer in connection with the transaction.

We may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other similar purposes. We also share your Personal Information with your consent when a User of the Service connects with a Carrier or other User or when the User requests logs to be sent to a 3rd party via email or fax.

BridgeHaul may engage third party service providers to work to administer and provide the Services. These third-party service providers have access to your Personal Information only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your Personal Information for any other purpose.


Emergency Situations

It is our policy to protect you from having your privacy violated through abuse of the legal systems, whether by individuals, entities or government, and to contest claims that we believe to be invalid under applicable law. However, we may use or disclose Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to applicable law or comply with legal process served on us or the Service; (b) protect and defend our rights or property, the Service or our Users, and (c) act under emergency circumstances to protect the personal safety of us, our affiliates, agents, or the users of the Service or the public.


Use of Non-Personal Information

We may disclose or share Non-Personal Information (or other information, other than Personal Information) in any other manner that we deem appropriate or necessary. Among other things, we will disclose Non-Personal Information to third parties to help us determine how people use parts of the Sites and who our users are so we can improve our Sites. We will also disclose Non-Personal Information to our partners and other third parties about how our users collectively use the Sites.


Public Areas and Reviews

Any information you share in public areas, such as message boards or review sections, becomes public and User could take and use that information. Please be careful about what you disclose and do not post any Personal Information that you expect to keep private.


Information Security

We will protect personal information from unauthorized access by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of your information from your device to our servers. Personal Information collected by our Sites is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. We also rely on 3rd party data storage and servers including Amazon Web Services to store some of your information who also provide security safeguards. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose your Personal Information to you. However, no method of transmitting information over the internet can be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.


Links to 3rd Party Sites

Our Services may contain links to other websites and services. Any information that you provide on or to a third-party website or service is provided directly to the owner of the website or service and is subject to that party's privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to such websites or services and we're not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of those websites or services. To protect your information we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of other websites and services that you access.


International Transfer

Your Personal Information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you're located outside the United States and choose to provide your Personal Information to us, we may transfer your Personal Information to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of any Personal Information represents your agreement to that transfer.


Personal Information Collected From Children

BridgeHaul does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age you should not under any circumstance provide personally identifiable information to BridgeHaul. If BridgeHaul discovers that a child under the age of 13 has provided BridgeHaul with personally identifiable information, BridgeHaul will immediately delete that child's information from the Service.


Changes to Privacy Policy

Any information that we collect is subject to the privacy policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we'll notify you of such changes by posting them on the Service or by sending you an email or other notification, and we'll indicate when such changes will become effective.
